MARVEX 3D SCAN

Capture the facility as it exists.

We scan accessible industrial spaces and turn field reality into an organized, navigable 3D facility model—ready for documentation, planning, and delivery into Marvex Nexus.

Optimized point cloud and 3D model

Operations ready

Prepared for Nexus asset mapping

From field capture to a useful facility record.

The deliverable is designed around how your team needs to understand, review, and use the site—not around a generic scan export.

01

Registered point cloud

A coordinated representation of visible, accessible surfaces captured during the agreed site window.

02

Navigable facility model

A web-ready 3D environment optimized for orientation, review, and project communication.

03

Reference documentation

Capture notes, coverage boundaries, known gaps, model version, and agreed reference outputs.

04

Marvex Nexus

A dark, operations-ready delivery path that can connect equipment identities, live values, maintenance context, and technical workflows.

Marvex Nexus →

100,000 SQ FT

A practical delivery path for facilities up to 100,000 sq ft.

Standard capture

~1 week

Field capture, registration, quality review, and an organized point-cloud delivery for a prepared, accessible site.

Detailed facility model

~3 weeks

Adds model cleanup, navigable web optimization, agreed equipment zones, and structured handoff for Nexus.

Timing is a planning baseline, not a promise made without a site review. Access, safety requirements, operating conditions, equipment density, occlusion, travel, and requested detail can change the schedule.

One controlled process, four clear stages.

01

Scope

Confirm the site, access windows, safety rules, outputs, reference system, and acceptance checks.

02

Capture

Collect overlapping scan positions and supporting imagery across the agreed accessible areas.

03

Register & verify

Align the captures, inspect coverage, document gaps, and check agreed control dimensions.

04

Deliver

Prepare the selected point-cloud, model, documentation, and optional Nexus-ready asset structure.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Clear answers before the site review.

01What do we receive after the scan?

The agreed delivery may include a registered point cloud, a web-optimized navigable facility model, capture and coverage notes, known-gap documentation, and a Nexus-ready asset structure. The exact outputs are confirmed before field work.

02How long does a facility scan take?

For a prepared and accessible facility up to approximately 100,000 sq ft, the planning baseline is about one week for standard point-cloud delivery and about three weeks for a more detailed navigable model. Site conditions can change the schedule.

03Does the facility need to stop operating?

Not automatically. Capture windows are planned around access, safety, movement, reflective surfaces, restricted areas, and operating conditions. Any required shutdown or isolation is identified during the site review.

04Is the scan suitable for fabrication or certified surveying?

Not unless that precision and professional scope are separately contracted and verified. Standard delivery supports existing-condition documentation, orientation, planning, maintenance context, and digital operations—not certified surveying or engineering approval.

05Can the scan connect to Marvex Nexus?

Yes. The model can be prepared for verified equipment zones and asset identities so approved operational data, maintenance context, fault locations, and parts information can be connected in a later Nexus phase.

06How are scan files and facility data handled?

Access, storage location, retention, transfer, and deletion rules are agreed for the project. MARVEX uses project-scoped access, encrypted transport and storage, controlled sharing, and documented delivery boundaries appropriate to the customer environment.
